Custom 304 or 316 stainless-steel components are offered through precision lost-wax investment casting with CNC machining. Die-casting requests are separately defined route enquiries, with the actual process and material grade agreed for the selected drawing.
Identify the component and stainless grade
Provide the geometry, application and functional interfaces of the part to be ordered. Select 304 or 316 with the governing material requirement. A clear component definition lets the supplier assess the casting and CNC work against the actual supplied condition needed by the assembly.
- Submit the controlled component drawing and grade.
- Identify the lost-wax/investment or separate route request.
- Mark CNC-machined interfaces and dimensional limits.
- Define the silver appearance and required surface condition.
- Specify quantity and acceptance records for inspection.
Apply the dimensional reference to agreed locations
The tolerance reference is 0.2 mm. Specify the convention, dimensions and process stages at which it applies, together with any other drawing limits needed for the component. This gives the precision enquiry an inspection basis tied to the finished geometry.
Define appearance and inspection acceptance
A silver-color description, burr or flash control and sand-hole control are named surface considerations. Identify the visible and contact surfaces and agree their acceptance criteria. Quality control is described as 100% inspection; define the relevant material, dimensional and visual checks for the part so the selected casting and machining scope can be accepted against one controlled brief.
