Custom gray cast-iron wheels and mechanical spare parts can be requested through green-sand or shell molding with CNC finishing. Electrostatic powder coating and shot blasting are named surface treatments. Define the actual wheel or component drawing, iron grade and required supplied condition.
Describe the wheel’s fitted and working geometry
The dimensional reference is 10–2500 mm; identify the dimension concerned and applicability to the design. Mark mounting, locating and working surfaces with the datums controlling their relationships. State the intended application requirements and acceptance criteria for the actual wheel or spare part.
Assign CNC and surface acceptance
Identify the interfaces requiring final machining and distinguish them from cast areas. Define dimensional limits and the measurement stage for those surfaces. Specify treatment coverage, masking and appearance where the finish affects contact condition or installation.
Select the governing documents
Document families include GB, ASTM, DIN, ISO, AISI, ASME, EN, BS, JIS, NF, AWWA, JWWA and CAS. Choose the actual specification and grade, identifying the CAS designation where relevant. Request applicable DNV, PED and ISO9001:2008 documentation and scope for the selected component.
Complete the supply definition
Industrial, machinery and automotive requests need their own quantity, controlled revision and approval records. Customized sizes and wooden-case packing are listed; describe protection needed for finished or visible areas. Connect sample and production acceptance to the same material, wheel geometry and delivered surface condition.
