    Customer's 3D Drawing

Industrial sand-casting enquiries include grey- or ductile-iron components, with steel and aluminum requests specified separately. OEM/ODM work follows the customer’s 3D drawing and customized sizes. Select the material grade and required supplied condition before defining any machining and powder-coated finish.

Turn the 3D geometry into an acceptance brief

Identify mounting faces, locating details and dimensions controlling the component’s assembly. Provide the datum system and acceptance limits alongside the model. Distinguish interfaces requiring subsequent machining from surfaces accepted in the cast condition, so the quotation describes the finished work actually needed.

Define the powder-coated condition

Specify the coating coverage, selected appearance and areas needing masking. Where a fitted or contacting surface has a particular delivered condition, mark it on the drawing. Connect final dimensional acceptance to that surface state rather than treating appearance and fit as unrelated requirements.

Select the standards for the chosen metal

GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS are standard-family references. Identify the actual document, edition and grade relevant to the material and component. Request the applicable ISO9001:2008 certificate and confirm its current scope alongside the order requirements.

Complete the custom order definition

Provide quantity, controlled revision and the material, dimensional and surface records needed for approval. If a sample demonstrates the intended result, identify its role against the drawing. Keep subsequent acceptance tied to the selected grade, requested work and powder-coated supplied condition of the industrial part.
