ServiceOEM ODM Service
Choose the component first when enquiring about custom iron castings. This OEM/ODM service covers grey-iron and ductile-iron sand-cast products for machinery spare parts and tent-foot-weight requests, with separate aluminum-part enquiries. Resin-sand casting is also a named route to discuss for the selected design and material.
Specify the tent-foot interface for a ballast component
For a tent-foot weight, provide the foot geometry and the way the cast component engages it. Identify handling and contact details that affect the shape, together with the design's required ballast specification. That requirement belongs to the intended installation and should be stated in the component drawing.
Define machinery spares through their mating geometry
A machinery spare-part enquiry needs its own drawing, operating duty and interfaces. Select grey iron or ductile iron according to that design and name the actual grade. Aluminum remains a separate material enquiry, with the casting route chosen for the requested component rather than combined with an iron specification.
- Identify a tent-foot weight, machinery spare or other requested component.
- Provide the controlled drawing and required custom dimensions.
- Name the metal family, grade and applicable material standard.
- Describe the operating or installation duty relevant to the design.
- State the quantity and required delivered condition.
- Mark mating surfaces and inspection acceptance dimensions.
Agree sand-casting and resin-sand scope
Discuss the general sand-casting or resin-sand requirement against the chosen material and geometry. Dimensions follow the customer design drawing, so the quotation should identify the actual part being supplied. Any separately finished surfaces should be specified through their required delivered dimensions and condition.
Identify the applicable standard and qualification evidence
Named standard families include GB, ANSI, BS, DIN, JIS, ASTM, ASME and AISI. Select the document that applies to the component and grade. ISO9001 is the stated supplier-qualification reference for which the relevant documentation and scope can be addressed with the quotation.
