Custom large stainless-steel machinery-part enquiries include resin-sand casting with machining where needed. OEM and ODM dimensions follow the customer drawing, and surface treatment and color are selected to requirement. Define the complete grade, component geometry and supplied condition for the actual casting.
Describe the large-part envelope and interfaces
Show the overall form and detail the mounting, locating and mating areas that determine assembly fit. Identify the dimensions accepted as cast and those requiring a finished operation. Actual component capability should be agreed against that drawing and grade rather than an assumed general size range.
- Provide the controlled revision and order quantity.
- State the full stainless-steel specification and required condition.
- Mark functional datums and controlled dimensions.
- Define material, surface and dimensional acceptance records.
Define separate metal-mold process requests
A high-pressure metal-mold enquiry needs its own material and production-method definition. Identify the actual component and blank for that request so it can be reviewed on its own requirements. The manufacturing brief should keep each requested item connected to one clearly selected route.
Set finish and document requirements
Mark the final surface treatment and any masking boundaries at functional interfaces. DIN is the standard-family reference; specify the complete document and edition applicable to the order. Identify the ISO9001:2015 qualification document and scope, and connect any sample approval to the same drawing, material requirement and supplied condition used for the subsequent components.
