OEM/ODM component enquiries cover steel, ductile-iron and cast-iron sand castings, with separate aluminum and die-cast requests. In-house mold making and deburring are named services, with the selected material and production route defined through the actual part drawing.

Establish the component before the mold brief

Provide the geometry, material grade and the interfaces that determine installation or use. Dimensions follow customer requirements, so mark the locations needing particular control. The approved component drawing should establish what the mold and casting work must deliver.

Define deburring and subsequent work

Identify edges and contact areas that need attention after casting, together with any required machine work. Specify the finished-interface geometry and supplied condition in the enquiry. This gives each requested operation a purpose within the selected component rather than adding a general process menu to every item.

  • Supply the controlled drawing and selected metal grade.
  • Identify the actual casting route and mold requirements.
  • Mark critical dimensions, edges and finished interfaces.
  • Specify quantity and required inspection records.
  • Describe the delivered surface and appearance acceptance.

Choose finish and environmental requirements

Painting, powder coating and oxidation-treatment enquiries are named surface options for appropriate selected materials. Define coverage and any areas requiring protection. Professional inspection and carton packing are stated; agree the checks and packing needed for the part. For an eco-friendly purchasing requirement, identify the actual environmental criteria or evidence relevant to the selected material and finish.
