ToleranceCustomer's Drawing Request
Foundry custom high precision sand cast parts can be requested in aluminum including A356, stainless steel, brass or grey iron. Select the complete material specification for the individual component. OEM and ODM service follows customer drawings for sizes, tolerances and client-defined requirements.
Make the component specification complete
Identify the part's intended duty, surrounding assembly and important interfaces. Choose the actual alloy specification independently for each metal component. Show the dimensional limits and datums that govern fit, and state any additional machining needs for agreement during quotation.
Define appearance alongside functional acceptance
Colors and surface finishes follow customer requirements. Define the requested perfect appearance through agreed cosmetic criteria for the actual surfaces. Separate visible areas from mating or locating features, and explain the condition in which the component will be accepted. Connect surface requirements to the chosen material and finished geometry.
Specify inspection and approval records
Quality control is stated as strict 100% inspection, with ISO 9001 as the certification reference. Identify the checks and records needed for the order and establish the relevant document scope. Packing combines bubble protection, a carton and a wooden case.
- Supply the drawing revision and selected alloy designation.
- State quantity and any initial approval requirements.
- Identify dimensional, surface and application-specific acceptance documents.
For a revised or repeat enquiry, keep approved changes connected to the same component design and supplied condition. This allows the quotation to address the actual casting rather than a broad material or finish category.
