OEM aluminum components can be requested through investment- or sand-casting enquiries. Stainless steel, steel, brass, copper and iron are separate material choices, with plastic components specified independently. Select the complete grade, incoming form and compatible route for the actual drawing.
Define the processing scope
Machining, welding and forging requests need their own applicable material and geometry. Named operations are broaching, drilling, milling, turning, tapping and wire processing; identify the required wire method. The supply sequence includes molds, casting, deburring, machining, surface treatment and packing, with the selected stages agreed for the component.
Separate casting and machined acceptance
Assign CT4–CT8 casting tolerance to the applicable dimensions and supplied state. The ±0.02 mm machining reference needs its own controlled interfaces and measurement basis. Show datums and relationships assessed together so final fit is evaluated at the appropriate processing stage.
Select surface treatment and governing documents
Polishing, passivation, sandblasting, zinc plating and black oxidation require a compatible substrate and specified result. Define coverage, masking and contact conditions. Governing document families include ISO, GB, DIN, JIS, ANSI, BSW, ASTM, ASME, BS, API and EN; identify the complete document, edition and scope needed for the selected part.
Agree approval records
Request applicable ISO9001:2015-related and TUV documentation with the relevant holder and activity scope. Provide quantity, the controlling revision and the material or dimensional records required for acceptance. Retain approved grade, route and surface changes with the order so subsequent components follow the same agreed definition.
