Custom aluminum components can be requested through OEM/ODM sand, gravity or die-casting enquiries with A380 and ADC12 references. Other material labels are A360, ZL101, 102 and 114. Establish each complete specification and supplied condition without assuming equivalent grades or completing an unspecified designation.

Define the selected aluminum component

Provide the drawing and describe the actual working duty. Show mounting and mating geometry with the references controlling installation. Identify the cast-state regions and interfaces needing another final result for the chosen part.

Assign the dimensional requirement

For an unsigned 0.01 mm tolerance requirement, specify controlled features and permitted deviations. Establish the processing stage and measurement conditions for acceptance. Mark any component relationships that need to be assessed together for final fit.

Choose finish and inspection requirements

Polishing, painting, powder coating, sandblasting and electroplating are named requests. Define the compatible process, coverage and final appearance or contact result. The stated 100% inspection needs actual checks and records for the selected alloy and supplied stage.

  • Request applicable IATF16949:2016 documents and relevant scope.
  • Establish the complete identity of an ISO16949:2009 document request.
  • State the aluminum part’s quantity and controlling drawing revision.
  • Identify material, dimensional and surface approval evidence.

Retain accepted grade, route and finishing decisions within the component definition used to confirm subsequent supply for the selected working assembly and approved aluminum material condition.
