Separate forging work can include optional machining and surface treatment. Define the actual item, complete grade and supplied condition for each request.
Identify the cast or forged deliverable
Show the part’s function and the relationships with adjoining equipment. Select the incoming form and manufacturing route appropriate to that material and geometry. Keep forging requirements separate from cast-component supply so the order describes the actual work being requested.
Set dimensions and optional further processing
Customized size should follow the component drawing and intended industrial duty. Mark mounting and mating interfaces with the references controlling fit. Identify dimensions requiring machining, their acceptance limits and the measurement conditions used to assess the finished result.
Define surface and quality-record requirements
Select a compatible treatment and identify coverage, appearance and working-contact conditions. Specify material, dimensional and surface evidence needed to approve the actual supplied state. Request applicable ISO9001:2015, CE or RoHS documents with the relevant holder and component or activity scope.

- State cast-component or forging quantity and controlling revision.
- Explain the required initial-part assessment against its mating assembly.
- Retain accepted grade and process changes within the supplied-item definition.
