Custom stainless-steel parts can be requested with selected sand- or investment/lost-wax casting and CNC machining. Polishing and grinding are named finishing services. OEM/ODM size follows the actual drawing, with the complete grade and required material condition specified for the component.
Define cast form and CNC-controlled geometry
Show the part’s function and mounting, locating or mating interfaces with adjoining components. Set dimensional limits from the stainless component’s locating references, identifying the mating relationships that its CNC-finished interfaces must satisfy at final acceptance. Distinguish cast-state surfaces from areas requiring CNC-finished dimensions and identify their measurement stage for acceptance.
Set polished and ground-surface requirements
Identify the faces receiving each selected operation and the final dimensional or appearance result needed. Define coverage, working-contact conditions and the criteria used to assess visible areas. Keep finishing requirements attached to the actual material and supplied-state definition.
Agree professional inspection and approval evidence
Professional inspection is stated. Specify the actual methods, controlled characteristics and material, dimensional or surface records required by the chosen design. Explain what an initial component or reference sample must demonstrate about fit, geometry or finish before production approval.
- Provide quantity and the controlling revision.
- Identify the component’s actual application duty.
- Packing combines poly bag, inner box and carton.
- Specify protection for finished contacting and visible surfaces.
Retain accepted material, CNC and finishing changes with the drawing so production acceptance follows the actual stainless-steel casting and its required delivered condition.
