ToleranceCustomer's Drawing Request
Large sand-cast components can be requested through OEM/ODM supply in separately specified iron, A356 aluminum, stainless steel or brass. Choose the complete material specification and condition for the actual part. Size and tolerance follow the customer drawing and client requirements.
Define the large component’s geometry
Show mounting, locating and mating relationships within the intended application. Mark the actual dimensions and references governing installation or working fit. Describe the service duty relevant to the selected material rather than relying on the general large-part designation.
Set cosmetic and supplied-surface criteria
Color and finish are customized for the chosen substrate. Identify visible areas and the cosmetic criteria needed to approve the high-appearance requirement. Define treated coverage and the final contact condition where a surface affects installation or dimensional assessment.
Agree inspection and supporting records
The stated strict 100% inspection needs actual material, dimensional and surface checks for the component. Specify the records required at the supplied stage and explain any initial-item assessment. Request applicable ISO9001 documentation with the relevant holder and activity scope.
- Packing combines bubble protection, carton and wooden case.
- Define protection for finished contacts and visible areas within that arrangement.
- State the selected component’s quantity and controlling design revision.
- Retain accepted grade and appearance decisions within the part record.
Confirm further work against the approved geometry, client requirements and supplied-condition definition.
