OEM/ODM industrial-component requests can specify stainless steel, zinc alloy or aluminum alloy, using a compatible sand, lost-wax or die-casting route. Shape, size and color are customized. Select the full grade and actual manufacturing choice for the individual item rather than combining alternative materials into one part.
Start with the component’s working connections
Show how the casting mounts, locates or mates with the surrounding assembly. Identify the drawing revision and the dimensions governing installation or operation. Explain the working duty and final supplied condition so the selected alloy can be assessed against a defined component requirement.
Allocate optional machining and polishing
Mark interfaces needing machining and distinguish them from surfaces accepted in their cast state. Set the permitted dimensional limits and measurement references for the selected work. Polishing is available; identify its coverage and the contact or appearance result needed on the chosen material.
Connect checking to the supplied item
The ordered component carries a 100% inspection requirement. Agree the relevant characteristics, assessment methods and records needed to establish acceptance, including the stage at which geometry and surfaces are evaluated. Explain what an initial item must demonstrate where several mating relationships are assessed together.
Keep the order definition consistent
Provide quantity and the material, dimensional and surface documents required for approval. Wooden-case packing is offered for the completed parts; state any protection needed for finished interfaces. Record accepted changes to grade, route or color within the component specification so a further request follows the same agreed design and supplied condition.
