Choose the state in which the industrial iron component needs to enter your equipment assembly. This OEM/ODM sand-casting service covers drawing-based custom work from the initial component requirement through mass-production enquiries. Ductile or gray iron is selected by its complete grade, with the ordered condition made clear before machining and finishing scope are settled.
Define the Supplied State of the Iron Part
The component drawing should identify the finished interfaces and acceptance required for the chosen delivery condition. Select the actual state for each deliverable rather than assuming that all castings receive the same amount of secondary work.
- Raw-casting supply can be defined against its required cast condition.
- Semi-machined supply can identify the interfaces completed within that scope.
- Fully machined supply can follow the agreed final drawing requirements.
Assign Machining and Surface Work to the Drawing
CNC services include turning, milling, drilling and boring, while dimensions and tolerances follow the customer drawing. Mark the geometry requiring each operation and define the final interfaces needed for the industrial-machine or OEM-equipment assembly. Surface requests include blasting, painting, anti-rust treatment or custom finishing, selected for the actual component condition.
Connect Quality Records to the Final Deliverable
Quality control includes material testing, dimensional inspection and visual inspection, with the actual methods and acceptance records agreed for the ordered iron part. Request applicable IATF16949 documentation with its supplier scope rather than treating a system reference as the component's entire acceptance plan.
Prepare the Production Enquiry
Packing uses plywood case or pallet with rust protection. Provide quantity, drawing revision and the required material, dimensional and final-surface criteria for the selected supplied state. The completed request should make clear what is cast, what is machined and which finished interfaces are approved for the intended heavy-duty equipment component.
